How to deny SendAs to users with full access.
Exchange 2007. I have a mailbox to which all users need access via OWA, apparently for this they need Full Access rights which I have set. However, no user should be able to SendAs that address as I would like everyone to Send on Behalf Of instead. I've tried using Add-MailboxPermission to Deny DOMAIN\Domain Users the SendAs right but it doesn't seem to be work. Both the Full Access right and the deny SendAd right are configured explicitly on the mailbox.Any pointers as to why this might be and possible alternatives solutions as to how I should go about preventing the SendAs right?--np

Should there be any email coming from that address (ie, is there a primary owner of the mailbox that will send email from there?)

Check the account in AD, not MBX properties. You can deny send-as there.

Hi,
Use ADD-ADPermission PowerShell command like
Add-AdPermission -Identity yourUser -User ToUser -ExtendedRights Send-As -Deny:$true

Hi,In Exchange 2007, users who are granted the Full Mailbox Access permission to a mailbox do not have Send As permission. Instead, the users have Send on Behalf Of permission for the mailbox owner.
