How to know the SP level of my Exchange *2000* server?
I'm in a project of migrating my Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2007 SP1. There're some conditions to satisfy. One of them is about Exchange 2000 SP level: it can't be SP3. I think I had applied SP4 few years ago, but I can't find out for sure. This info can't be found in "Add/Remove Programs" as I'm using Windows 2000 Server. I've searched inside the "Exchange System Manager" console, but in vain. Could somebody tell me how to know what SP my Exchange 2000 is having? TIA

Horinius, Open up Exchange System Manager, go to Help, About Microsoft Exchange. It will give you a build number. Then check it against here. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=158530Mark Morowczynski|MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP: Enterprise Support|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com

Thanks but this doesn't work :( In "Help", I just have "About Microsoft Management Console", no "About Microsoft Exchange". Maybe you've confused with Windows Server 2003 or Exchange 2003?

But your link to Microsoft KB article has given me an indirect answer: there's only SP3 for Exchange 2000. No SP4. I probably confuse SP4 of the Windows 2000 Server.
