Hey there,

Just discussing with our proxy team and they showed to me that on their logs they can see huge amount of lines about "autodiscover.company.com" even so, we have "autodiscover.company.com" listed on the IE's exception list. The source for these line are mostly Outlook (some of them comes from Lync as well).

We have no needs to let clients to go out and looking for those hosts, so the proxy exception is in there by purpose.

Does anybody have and idea why Outlook (and Lync) are not following the proxy settings we have done for the IE, except to find what is the proxy and where to send that tr

I'm not sure if IE settings work for Outlook too, but have you checked the Outlook Proxy settings from Account Settings?
