How to merge two calendars in Exchange 2007?
Hello all! We have Exchange 2007. There is some user, who wants me to restore his old calender from 1.03.2011. Because he doesn't know exactly which meeting where been deleted, the user asks me to restore whole old calendar to the current one(to merge them). The problem is, that old calendar and the current one have same meetings. I don't want to restore old calendar and to get duplicate meetings after restore. How can i perform it?

Hi, YOu can restore databse (where user mailbox reside) in recovery storage group and then use cmdlet "Restore-Mailbox" and there you can use option item wise. You can use "restore-mailbox" with switch -AllowDuplicates. http://blog.chrysjan.dk/?p=49 Anil

But "AllowDuplicates" will duplicate meetings and that's what i don't want.

1. Use http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299349 to remove duplicates. 2. Delete all current calendars then import. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/clear-all-outlook-calendar-items-HA001034770.aspx 3. Or export calendar to PST then restore calendar, then import PST calendar and choose not to import duplicates. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/merge-items-from-multiple-calendars-HA102075248.aspx Sukh
