I purchased office 2010 and I want to export my Thunderbird files having extension mbox to outlook2010 .pst (?) files. I searched in google,all are time consuming as I have more than 100 computers and each of then have data in GBs.

 

So could you please suggest an easy method for this problem considering the scenario ?

Would be nice for Microsoft Outlook customers who want to migrate from Thunderbird to have a Microsoft tool to aid them, rather than a third party tool.  I would suggest more people would migrate if Microsoft had such a tool?  Personally I can not be asked to spend hours messing about.

 

 

One thing that worked for me was to use a gmail account and create IMAP folders for my mail.   Then I synched by Thunderbird mail to the IMAP folders.  Then I read it back into Outlook.   Gmail did all the conversion for me.  Don't know if Windows Live Mail will do the same thing, but basically the idea is to use a free online mail site to do the washing.

I tried Address Magic but ended up with a Trojan on my computer.  Fortunately Macafee removed it immediately.  Don't know whether Address Magic was totally to blame, though.
