How to reach a particular version number
I need to make sure two Exchange servers have the same patch level (to use the /disasterrecovery switch). I know the first server is version 6.5.6944.0 but I don't know what patches that represents. Exchange SP2 is 6.5.7638.1.
How do I figure out which patches I need to make the version match? Thanks.

Ver 6.5.6944 represents Exchange 2003 with no SP.

You can check the add/remove programs in control panel. That will list
all the updates to the product.

Whew, upon further consideration, I was looking at my XP machine with ESM installed. That's why I came up with .6944 :)
All the Exchange servers are .7638.
