How to read Process Tracking Log for Exchange 2007 results
I'm very appreciate this tool. I need confirmation that I am correctly interpreting the data in the report MTSummaryResults. In detail, if the below is the ratio between the mailbox and the received SMTP / internal organization mail : Total SMTP Receive: 3791526 (RecipCount: 4651782, recipients/receive: 1,2) Total StoreDriver Receive: 3559398 (RecipCount: 6349566, Recipients/submit: 1,8, Unique senders: 6318, Submissions/sender: 563,4) Thanks in advance. Hi, The ratio could come from recipcount/ total smtp receive and recipcount/total storedrive receive SMTP RECEIVE can be from any source that submits a message by using SMTP. For example, it can be a Hub Transport server role, an Edge Transport server role, a third-party message transfer agent (MTA), or a POP/IMAP client. STOREDRIVER RECEIVE is logged by the EdgeTransport.exe process, and is the event that corresponds to a STOREDRIVER SUBMIT event. STOREDRIVER SUBMIT is logged by the Mail Submission process. These events can be on the same server if both server roles are installed locally, or they can be on different servers. Xiu Zhang TechNet Community Support

Thanks for the answer. Considering these results Total SMTP Receive: 3791526 (RecipCount: 4651782, recipients / receive: 1.2) Total StoreDriver Receive: 3559398 (RecipCount: 6349566, Recipients / submit: 1.8, senders Unique: 6318, Submissions / sender: 563.4) Total SMTP Send: 8229160 (RecipCount: 1431539, recipients / send: 1.4) Total StoreDriver Deliver: 7187071 (RecipCount: 10361259, Recipients / deliver: 1.4, Recipient Mailboxes Unique: 15057, Deliveries / Mailbox: 688.1) you could tell me what are the following values: Unique senders: 6318 but we have about 4000 mailboxes add the senders could be for example the servers or applications that use the internal mail relays to send mail? Submissions / sender:? Recipient Mailboxes Unique:? Deliveries / Mailbox:?
