Hi, I lost one server in my organisation. I can't get the hardware back again and there is no backup. How can I remove it from my exchange organisation? Deleting the server in the ad-computer-list did not remove it from the management console. And some commands like test-owaconnectivity still try to access the lost server and therefore fail. You'll have to pull it out of the configuration container with adsiedit.

also, if you've got a virtual machine handy, you could reinstall with setup.exe /mode:recoverserver then once its back up, uninstall exchange. That would be a very clean route.
