No, you cannot restore backup of Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. But why you wan't to do so since you have both server running, move the mailboxes from Exchange 2003 to 2007...Moving Mailboxeshttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124797.aspxAmit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

In that case, you need to bring Exchange 2003 server up by restoring or with /DisasterRecovery switch of Exchange 2003 setup.Recovering a Failed Exchange 2003 Member Server Using the Disaster Recovery Switchhttp://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Recovering-Failed-Exchange-2003-Member-Server-Using-Disaster-Recovery-Switch.htmlOnce, 2003 server is up, move all mailboxes and decomission it properly. You can not simply restore Exchange 2003 backup on Exchange 2007 server.Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
