I have a .pst file that was password protected. the user cannot remember the password.
I have searched alot and cannot find . Can someone point me in right directions. Thanks.

Microsoft does not provide any kind of facility through which viewing a password protected PST file is possible. 

But Yes, there are numbers of third party utilities which can decrypt the password of Outlook Data file and show the items within it. 

While searching solution regarding your query I found some impressive advance technology like SysTools Outlook PST Viewer Pro which just not allow to view the items of PST file, even this utility gives authentication to export the viewed data into various file format (PDF).
