How to view the global address list
We are using exchange server 2007, it is based on windows 2003 64 bit server. we are getting lot of spam mails showing recipients with our domain name they are all fake. like: fhgsk345@domainname.com as recipient, which is not a true emailid of ours. i also checked in the hub transport if teh recipient is not part of our global address list then reject those mails, still receiving the emails with fake ID's. Any ideas, please. Thank you all.

I have seen you post several "spam" related post. You are going to lose all your hair if you don't implement a real spam solution. You will always be fighting the latest attack (like the spoofing that you are doing today). Because they are getting spoofed and are in your GAL, it is going to deliver. You have to have a spam solution these days. Some options, Exchange Edge server, Hosted Microsoft filtering, Postini. I always recommend a hosted spam solution as their are other benefits that come along with it.Tim Harrington - Catapult Systems - http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com
