Hi Bob,
Error "MSExchangeTransport }" was run: "Service 'MSExchangeTransport' failed to start. Check the event log for possible reasons for the service start failure"
This is problem because your final setup is not able to start HUB Transport service in setup. Please follow below steps to start it dueing setup (I have fix it before)
1. Un-install exchange 2010 from Add/REmove on faild server
2. Delete directry created in previous installation
3. Start exchange 2010 setup
4. When installation is going on there is BIN folder get create and there will be file "MSExchangeTrsnaport.config.template" created.
5. Remove text "template" from MSExchangeTrsnaport.config.template" and keep only
"MSExchangeTrsnaport.config"
Once installation is finish verify transport serviceAnil MCC 2011,ITIL V3,MCSA 2003,MCTS 2010, My Blog : http://messagingschool.wordpress.com

Bob,
Is this the first Exchange 2010 server in your Organization that you are trying to install?
According to the error in the event log you seem to have a Routing Group Connector in the ORG, so I assume that you at have Exchange 2003 Server. Do you also have any Exchange 2007 Servers?
Please give us some more information of your Exchange Environment.

I just finished re-running the install and success! :) Yes Success! I did everything everyone suggested and made sure IP6 was enabled and Exchange Server Computer in AD had membership in Domain Admins, and Exchange Enterprise Servers!
Thanks again

Hi,
Thanks for the update Bob!
The Exchange 2010 Server Computer Account should NOT be a member of either "Domain Admins" or "Exchange Enterprise Servers".
I might be too late since you already installed your first EX10 Server, but I would suggest you run
Exchange Pre-Deployment Analyzer
One of the test it does is to check if inhertance is cleared anywhere in Active Directoy, that will cause issues...
