IIS error on CAS server
Exchange 2007 CMS running in a 2-server CCR environment, separate machine running CAS and HUB roles.
When I start the Exchange Management Console on CAS/HUB server I immidiately get an error saying,
"Error: The task was not able to connect to IIS on the server '<Exchange_CMS_name>'. Ensure that the server exists and is reachable from this computer. The RPC server is unavailable."
What? As it stands I have the IIS Admin service enabled on both servers that are running the CMS. But the error references the name of the CMS (not the names of either of the servers running the CMS). I have enabled IIS Admin on both machines that run the CMS.
So far I can use OWA successfully, but have not tried ActiveSync, IMAP, POP, etc.
How do I get rid of this error?
Thanks!

Ahhhhh....
it appears the silly integreated Windows firewall was blocking. I shut it off and things are working now.
