We are having a problem with one of our Exchange 2003 servers. After the server ran out of memory a week ago the failover (we are runningVeritas Cluster 4.1)to the second server failed, and we had to restart the problem server, flush it in Veritas Cluster Manager, and then bring online the second one. Even if everything looks normal on the problem server, we can not switch to that server. When we try to, everything looks normal until cluster manager tries to stop POP3 service. It seems like the service won't let go, and neither does it start on the other service. Theeventviewer (application log)on the problem server starts to show thousands of IMAP4SVC error messages (about 500000 in 15 minutes), and the server then has to be disabled in cluster manager and restarted: Event Type:ErrorEvent Source:IMAP4SVCEvent Category:Configuration Event ID:1077Date:19.12.2007Time:15:27:26User:N/AComputer: <servername>Description:IMAP4 configuration update failed for instance 1 with error 0x0. We have found nothing on this error on the internet, and we can't figure out what is really causing the problem. System info (both servers): Windows Server 2003 standard SP2 Exchange 2003 SP2 All patches per 18.12.07 installed Veritas Cluster Manager 4.1 Have anyone heard of this error before?? I'm not sure if this is related to Veritas Cluster or Exchange..
