IMAP migration to Exchange Server 2013

Hi everyone,

Somebody knows if is possible to migrate from an IMAP Server to Exchange Server 2013?

Exchange Server 2013 support IMAP migration?

I know that Exchange Online has this option but I didn't find this feature on Exchange Server 2013.

Also, I know that there is a tool called Migration Wiz, but the cost is so expansive.

I will be very thankfull if somebody help me.

Thanks,

There is no native tool that I'm aware of.

MigrationWiz is a good tool for this.  Another one I'm aware of is Cloudiway.

If cost is a concern, you can have users download their mailboxes into a PST and then upload it into their Exchange mailbox.

Hi,

Based on my knowledge, there is no official document to guide the migration  from an IMAP Server to Exchange Server 2013.

Using an IMAP endpoint only works if you are migrating to Office 365.

As Ed mentioned, users can download their mailboxes into a PST and then upload it into their Exchange mailbox as a workaround.

David

There is no way to use an IMAP endpoint to migrate Exchange 2013 Server. However, third party mailbox export tool can be used for this type of migration.

As said above, exporting mailboxes into PST and import them into Exchange mailbox can be a good approach for you.

You can checkout this application (http://www.exchangemailboxmigration.com/) that seems to be a suitable approach in your situation. It provides a hassle-free environment in order to get this job done without having downtime or any further interruption.

Any time there's a migration question, the vendor shills come out of the woodwork.  Their tools must not be very good if they have to pose as users making recommendations.
