ISA 2006 NLB issue
Hi,
Wewant to useISA 2006 for publishing Exchange 2007 but we are facing a problem with the NLB setup.
Server ISA001 is installed as both CSS and ISA server. Single Network adapter template is applied to the network.
The second node ISA002 gets added to the array.
Till this point its good. Array members can be seen in ISA server management.
The problem starts when we configure NLB. The intra-aary communication fails. CSS server is not able to obtain membership information from array member ISA002.
We are using CISCO 4948 switch.
Please help.

Whats this CSS server stand for?
Do you want to set up NLB for ISAs? If thats the case, please use Edge Security Community which would be the most relevant place for this issue
If I misunderstand it, please provide more detailed description about the exchange environment
Also, since you are using CISCO 4948, please review the following paragraph:
You can use either a layer 2 or 3 switch that is configured to be layer 2. The reason that we need a layer 2 switch is that NLB spoofs the switch into believing that all the nodes have the same MAC. So the switch sends all packets to all ports. Then the nodes decide which ones belong to each node. You can't spoof a layer 3 switch in this fashion
