For some strage reason I am unable to start the exchange transport service. When I try I says "The Microsoft Transport Service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example the performance Logs and Alerts Services.". But it's an Exchange server the exchange transport service has work to do. How can I keep it running?

A MS tech had me remove Appletalk and do some other stuff. But he said that Appletalk was the problem and now it works.
