I don't get AutoDiscover working
Hello community,I tried to configure the autodiscover system. I checked- SCN entries with the ADSI edit - DNS name resolvingThe problem is that I tried to configure a Windows Mobile 6.1 mobile phone with the autodiscover function. The mobile phone can not retrieve the settings. So I looked for a solution and found a test page.https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.comThe error I get is:Attempting to Retrieve XML AutoDiscover Response from url https://autodiscover.xx.net/AutoDiscover/AutoDiscover.xml for user Markus.Schuhmacher@xx.net Failed to obtain AutoDiscover XML response. Additional Details No Settings, Error, or Redirect element present in XML responseWhen I open the autodiscover.xml URI for my self I get the following (I read about this; this message should be normal and the autodiscover should work)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
- <Autodiscover xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/autodiscover/responseschema/2006">
- <Response>
- <Error Time="13:20:54.7137485" Id="3007185755">
<ErrorCode>600</ErrorCode>
<Message>Ungltige Anforderung.</Message>
<DebugData />
</Error>
</Response>
</Autodiscover>Remarks:The internal and external address is configured (Get-AutodiscoverVirtualDirectory shows valid entries)The test with Outlook in the LAN works.

Haha, I defeated the server :).the external URL of the Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync was wrong. I changed this in the Management console (Serverconfiguration --> Clientaccess). Then the test resaults were better; I received a configuration, but still the wrongaddress. So I made a IISRESET then everything works.Thanks for the tipps.By the way. Please answer me one question. At our customer we have got one ISA Server. Something I must change / notice?

J Glad you solved the issue
Well, if you want to deploy ISA server into the environment, the articles below can help:
Using ISA Server 2006 with Exchange ActiveSync
Publishing Exchange 2007 OWA, Exchange ActiveSync and RPC/HTTP using the 2006 ISA Firewall
Publishing Exchange Server 2007 with ISA Server 2006
Notes: Mobile devices (active sync) only work when listener authentication is set to Basic (with basic delegation) on ISA
