Hi, I've got the same problem with the password. If you figure it out and can help I would appreciate it. And I will do the same. Thanks

on the login/user name page, press control, alt, delete at the same time. then the user name will be administrator then hit enter - no password required that should help
if that doesn't help, call a local computer help store

Hi: I noticed your post on the MS Technet. My son forgot his logon password to hisMicrosoft XP PC.There is no administrator or a password recovery disk. Did you ever figure out how to take off the password and get back into the PC...? Thanks.

all right! you say you forgot the logon password?is it the administrator password? you know? when we install our system."administrator "account is autogenerate, and the default password is blank,
So if you have forget Your user account password then try this:
Start system and when you See Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys Twice and it?ll show Classic Login box. Now type ?Administrator? (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able
to log in Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from ?Control Panel -> User Accounts?.
Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.
but if the administator password has been changed, then the only way for you to bypass your system is using a
windows password recovery utility
