If I purchase additional Exchange CALs, do I need additional Server CALs?
If we want to provide some users outside of our office with access to an exchange account can I just purchase additional Exchange CALs? Do I also need to purchase Windows Server Cals? (since I need to create a new account for them in AD, but they will never be logging onto the network...)

You should run this by your licensing rep to ensure you purchase the required CALs and keep your company legal. I would be hesitant to comment on a licensing issue when there are so many variables.
