Imap Exchange 2003
Is having Imap enabled a bad Idea on Exchange 2003? I have users complain that emails are missing in their Outlook that also use Imap on their phones.

If they delete a message on their phones then it'll be deleted in their mailbox. You ought to look into ActiveSync to replace IMAP as it's designed for mobile devices. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." . Thanks for response, They also say it shows up in OWA as unread but not in their Outlook client at all? Just trying to see what else could be making Outlook client and Imap client show different messages? Is there a fixup tool to run on the mailbox?

Is there anyway to check the Outlook client or repaire the mail box on the server. I have one user that is missing emails in there outlook client but show up in OWA.

Try turning off cached mode in Outlook and see if the messages appear. If they do, then you're seeing some kind of problem with offline synchronization. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
