Exchange 2007 SP3 Outlook 2007 SP2 I work closely with Exchange Team to determine and implement requests from end users. I recommended implementing Public Folders to one of the departments (60 users). A Project Manager sent a request to a company (external), which support us and implemented Exchange into our organization. It is already 4 months since the request was sent. A company responded to us; saying they are still planning! My question is; how long can plan and implementing Public Folders take, knowing already structure and requirements? Thank you in advance. Hello Xiu, The core structure is simple: 1) Root folder - set permission (Owner) to six people. 2) The Public Folder will be available for one department only. 3) All subfolders will be managed by these six people. 4) The idea is to start from the Root, train people how to add/manage permission under the root. I have owned this idea. I was testing it as well. It took me about 3 days in total. But the final step is upon the Exchange Team. So, Xiu do you really think, it is such hard to configure and implement such simple Public folder structure? Note; I am looking an opinion! Hi Gulab, I should more specific with the Root folder in the first place. Saying Root, I did mean "Division name folder" not Public folder. So, under the Public Folder I am willing to create a new Folder assign permissions to these six people only.
