I exported all the emails from outlook 2011 and transferred the folder using an external hard drive. I wanted to transfer all the emails from outlook 2011 to outlook 2013. But unfortunately this folder can't be imported in outlook 2013 for reasons I don't know. I have also looked up the import/export wizard that features no import function for .olm files.

Is there any other possible way to import this folder in outlook 2013.

Please help.

I'm not aware of a free way to import data from Outlook 2011 into 2013, but I found a utility that claims to convert from OLM to PST:

How about this: Creating an IMAP account in Outlook 2011, move all the emails into the IMAP account, then create the same IMAP account in Outlook 2013. After sync, all the emails are available in the IMAP account in Outlook 2013, you can move them to other accounts or export to a .pst file.

Command A (all messages) hit forward, then depending on the emails may take a while (converts them to .eml) you will see all the emails in the "attached part" right click and hit save all (to disk or usb)
go into windows and highlight all the eml files and drag and drop all them to outlook. DONE!

If you have mails in bulk, then you can fasten your process with the help of an application.

No extra acount method didn't work at all, I researched a bit myself too and found the same tool as you have suggested. Olm to Pst converter tool did the conversion job quite comfortably.

Create a IMAP account  (GMAIL icloud etc.)

 

add account to 2011 outlook for mac and office for windows

 

Drag emails into a folder on the imap server and then go back to windows and drag the emails from the imap into your email. and your done all your old emails are there.

Hi,

Importing Mac Outlook .olm files to Windows Outlook 2013 or all earlier editions, is easy via following few below mentioned steps:

• Open Gmail account Click on Gear Tab (top right hand side)
• A list gets scrolled down click on the Settings tab to go to the settings page click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab on the top
• Check IMAP status (If it is disabled,  enable it) click Save Changes tab

Note: After IMAP mail account is created successfully, now configure Mac Outlook with IMAP account.

• Open Mac Outlook menu go to Tools Accounts
• Go to accounts page & click Email (enter account information), click Add Account button.

After this, it is required to create a Gmail label to connect it to the Mac Outlook.

• Log into Gmail account Click on Gear tab A list gets scrolled down.
