Import .pst from NAS :The server or share name specified in the path may be invalid, or the file could be locked
Hello,
i can succesfull import a .pst from a local windows-share with exchange 2010 SP1.
But when i try to import a .pst from a NAS i receive the following error:
"The server or share name specified in the path may be invalid, or the file could be locked"
- The file isn`t locked
- The file is accessible from the server
- The NAS is a Synology DS209. Is not part of windows-domain.
Who knows a solution for this?
Best Regards

The NAS needs to be part of a Windows domain and must have permissions granted to the "Exchange Trusted Subsystem" group. The export doesn't run as the user logged on, it runs as Exchange itself.

Ok. so there aren`t any possibilities to use a NAS that is not part of the Windows-domain? Maybe using other credentials to run the job?

You can't specify the credentials that the local system / Exchange MRS will use to connect to the share. When you run the command you submit the job, then it runs async server-side.
