Inbox language changed when adding a new user

Dear techies,

When I add a new user to outlook, the inbox is always translated to it defaults (in this case English)

I have a complete dutch installation of MS Office 2010 and still when I add a new user it translates Postvak (dutch) to Inbox.

I know how to fix  (get-mailbox (email) | set-mailboxregionalconfiguration -Language nl-NL  -LocalizeDefaultFolderName:$true)

But I want to know WHY this is happening.

So if you could explain it to me please do !

Hi MarhanM,

When an Outlook user who's set their language to <Language A> signs in to their Exchange 2010 mailbox that's been set to <Language B>, the Outlook user will see the Outlook user interface in Language A, but will see the content generated by Exchange. For example, by default, folder names such as Inbox, Deleted Items, and Sent Items display in <Language B>.

As a result, inbox language display in English even you set Dutch as default language on your client machine.

Using the Set-MailboxRegionalConfiguration cmdlet will set regional settings such as time, date, or language for the specified mailbox as your expected.
