Increase Exchange 2007 mailbox Quota
I have increased the mailbox quota on one of the user but still he is getting same error "1.97 GB of mailbox space used. At 2 GB you will not be able to send mail." I have done following changes in his mailbox - storage quotas And restarted "Microsoft Exchange Information Store" but still same error. http://oi52.tinypic.com/72es8o.jpg

Hi, Try to set the quota using the set-mailbox cmdlet. As far as I remember you can't exceed 2Gb when setting the limit using the GUI (unless you specify unlimited) Leif

Hi, You would need to set the following 3 settings with the set-mailbox cmdlet: -IssueWarningQuota -ProhibitSendQuota -ProhibitSendReceiveQuota http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998353(EXCHG.80).aspx Not sure how to change the scope. Leif

For the scope you can specify using the -identity parameter and specify the domain. Set-mailbox -identify Domain\AccountSukh

Hi, The cmdlet could be like follow: Set-mailbox -identify branch1.mycompany.com\jdoe -IssueWarningQuota 3000000000 -ProhibitSendQuota 3200000000 -ProhibitSendReceiveQuota 3500000000 -UseDatabaseQuotaDefaults $false reference: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123981.aspx Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. You can set them in different places. So make sure you read this and sent at the appropiate places. -http://exchangepedia.com/2007/09/exchange-server-2007-setting-message-size-limits.html You'll probably want to set the Org Limits which apply to all the Exch Ord, regardless of the AD domains in the same forest as Exch.
