Increase mailbox quota
Most users have a prohibit send quota of 512MB in our Exchange 2007 environment.
A senior manager has breached that limit and can no longer send email. He is saying he urgently needs to send a message out immediately.
Apart from asking him to delete messages/reduce the size of his mailbox, is the only solution to increase the send quota limit? I've heard this can take up to 2 hours to take effect due to Inf Store refresh time. Is there anyway to manually refresh the cache?
Even on the Outlook side?

1. Move the mailbox to another database.
2. Stop and restart the MSExchangeIS service.
You can shorten that cache-refresh interval:

In addition to the previous answers, you can also start to move the
mailbox to another database and then cancel the move. That should
cause the IS to refresh the information of information for this user
from the AD. That takes a lot less time than actually moving the
mailbox.
