Initialization Failed
I installed Exchange server 2010 on new Windows 2008 Server. When start exchange and go into Microsoft exchange on-premises it errors out:
"The following error occurred when searching for On-Premises Exchange server:
Execption calling "GetComputerSite" with "0" arguments: "the Specified domain either does not exist or could not be contracted. "it was running the command 'Discover-ExchangeServer -UseWIA $true'. "
How can I fix this?

What is your environment like is this one domain? How many DCs do you have are both functioning correctly? Run dcdiag on your DCs and report any problems.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Run the command
Nltest /Dsgetsite - make sure you are getting the correct result.
Set u - Make sure you are logged into domain
As james stated make sure there is no DC diag error.
Please chek cbelow link that may help you.
