Install Exchange 2003 server into Exchange 2007 Environment
Can I install an Exchange 2003 server into a native Exchange 2007 environment? If possible, what are the cons?

Not possible as exchange 2007 is already in native mode. Probably with mixed mode, it was possible.Raj

From technet: If you deploy Exchange 2007 as a new organization, you cannot later install Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2000 in the Exchange 2007 organization. This is not a supported scenario. If you anticipate requiring Exchange 2003 functionality in your organization in the future, you must first install an Exchange 2003 organization and maintain at least one Exchange 2003 server. Hello,Ifyou have an Exchange 2003 server in the site before installing Exchange 2007,then you cannot install Exchange 2003 in to an Exchange 2007 domain. In that case you are going tobuild a new forest, put Exchange 2003 in to it, export the content to mailboxes on Exchange 2003 and then export them out again to be imported in to the Exchange 2007 domain. There is no otherways, in my experience.regards from www.windowsadmin.infoManuPhilip
