Install Just the exchange schema

Hello TechNet.

I am working with Office 365, and I want to implement DirSync.  To do this properly, I need the Exchange schema installed in my AD environment. I am wondering if anyone knows how to do this.

I am working with all eval downloads right now, and the Exchange 2013 eval is a exe, not an ISO.  So,  what do I need to do to get ONLY the exchange schema installed?  Do you have a website to direct me to?  I have looked, and found one for 2010, so if they steps are the same, perhaps I already have my answer.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi ,

Thank you for your question.

Yes, you are right. The steps are the same as Exchange2010, we could refer to link which Andy supply.

In addition, we should backup AD schema before we update it:

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim

Hi guys,

Thanks for the link Andy.  Those are the same instructions I have for 2010, and the install of the schema worked well and went very smoothly.

I appreciate the responses.
