We have an existing 2003SP2 Exchange server. It was the first 2003 Exchange server/site installed on a Windows 2000 server. We would like to install a new/second 2003 Exchange serverin the same site/system manager and slowly move mailboxes over to it from the existing mail server. With long term plans to have all mailboxes off the original server. I am having difficultly locating documentation on install procedures for the second Exchange server. Can someone assist me in locating documentation for installing the second mail server?? Run install from CD?? Run from Exchange tools?? Pre-requisites, requirements... Thanks!!

E2K3 comes with the ExDeploy tool that should nicely cover the process. You should find it on the E2K3 CD.

Check this out: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123643.aspx You don't need to do a DomainPrep or ForestPrep but the rest of the steps apply. The best part is adding a second server is easy. Just make sure you have the correct permissions and services installed (covered in the above article) and you shouldn't have any problems.
