Installing Exchange Server 2013
Currently have exchange server 2003. I have a new server that I have installed active directory on that will host exchange server 2013 with windows server 2008 r2. My problem is that when I run the install, I have removed the old exchange server 2003 off line, I still get: Error: One or more servers in the existing organization are running Exchange 2000 Server or Exchange Server 2003. Installation can't proceed until all Exchange 2000 or Exchange 2003 servers are removed. Did you perform right uninstall of exchange 2003? If you don't, try to go to ADSIEdit.msc (Start > Run > Adsiedit.msc) open the Configuration Partition, go to Microsoft Exchange > Your Administrative Group, under the Servers delete the old Ex2003 server, Replicate the AD and try to re-install & update us.Netanel Ben-Shushan, MCSA/E, MCTS, MCITP, Windows Expert-IT Pro MVP.
