What type of fault tolerance are you looking for? I'm assuming you mean a back end cluster. With that you would need to set up a new cluster, active passive, then move your mailboxes to it. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123612(EXCHG.65).aspx You can't have anything else installed in a cluster besides the cluster application. That is why you have to move the mailboxes off that DC.Mark Morowczynski|MCT| MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:ES, SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com

Hi,The fault tolerant measures that you implement depend on the availability goals you want to reach. To implementing a reliable back-end solution, you need to do the cluster for the Exchange server. That is the ability of a system to continue functioning when one of the Back-end server fails.ThanksAllen
