Integrated Auth Keeps Prompting
Hi All,
Need a spot of help...
My team and I are at a customer site and are doing a calendar migration from meeting maker to exchange. The tool that does this needs to access the EWS URL of
https://computername/ews/exchange.asmx
It needs to do this without being prompted for authentication. Currently I have the exchweb set to allow only Integrated Authentication. Also, from IIS the EWS site allows Integrated Authentication. The application pool for EWS is running under Local System. The web browser on the migration server is configured to pass authentication automatically.
Despite all of this we are still being prompted for credentials. The migration utility cannot handle this case. If credentials are provided the page can be accessed but again, the utility cant do this.
Any thoughts as to how I can get the integrated auth to work? BTW: the client and the CAS server are in the same AD domain.
Thanks!

Hello,
I think you need to configure Impersonation for EWS on CAS server to access all the mailboxes without giving individual credential for each user. Please refer below procedure for further detail.
Configuring Exchange Impersonation (Exchange Web Services)

You may refer the document of your migration tool for further detail or consult the support team migration tool product company. They might have some standard way/procedure to configure permission to access through EWS.
If you still have anydoubt then I would suggest you to post your query in Development forum to get help from programmers.
