InternalUrl Settings
Working with a company that just setup Exchange 2010 and I am looking things over. They correctly setup a CAS Arrary, set the databases to use the array (outlook.company.com). Both CAS/Hub servers have the AutodiscoverServiceInternalUri set to webmail.company.com. The WebServicesInternalUrl is set to webmail.company.com. However, I noticed that all of the other web services, OABVirtualDirectory, OWAVirtualDirectory, ECPVirtualDirectory, ActivesyncVirtualDirectory, have their InternalURL set to the server FQDN. I don't see that as being correct. Shouldn't they be set to webmail.company.com so that they too can be distributed through the F5 hardware load balancer in front of the CAS Array? The SSL cert only has webmail.company.com and autodiscover on the name.

Your hunch is correct. If the cert only has webmail. and autodiscover., then the internalURLs need to match one of the names in the cert. Plus as you mentioned, then they can also get load balanced. Thanks. I also just noticed that the InternalUrl and ExternalUrl are blank. How do those settings differ from AutodiscoverServiceInternalUri? I asume that I should set them to https://autodiscover.company.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
