Internal & External OWA
Hi, I'm setting up an ISA 2006 based external offering for OWA 2003. I'm trying to set the Exchange FE server up so that internal clients are presented with the forms logon by the Exchange server and external clients use the ISA published form. I thought I could do this simply by adding a second IP address, configure the default HTTP Virtual Server to use Form-based Auth, and configure a second Virtual Server to not use forms. ISAwould be pointed to the second IP address. However, in testing, I have found that both IP addresses present the form-based logon when I would expect the 2nd to prompt with an old style basic authentication window. (this would then support ISA as ISA expects the Exchange FE to use basic auth and not forms) Any ideas appreciated, whether a fix, or to point out a better way. Cheers, Si

Hi, I realise this is not the most cost effective route, but one option would be to have 2 FE servers one for Internal and one for External. I will consider other options and post back if I come up with anything better. Cheers Nathan
