Invalid Certificate when replying to emails

I have a client that receives encrypted emails in Outlook 2013. He has the settings configured so that Trust Center Settings>E-mail Security>Encrypt contents and attachments for outgoing messages is unchecked. However, if he replies to an encrypted message he gets this error:

"Microsoft Outlook cannot sign or encrypt this message because there are no certificates which can be used to send from the email address "email@email.com". Either get a new digital ID to use with this account, or use the Accounts button to send the message using an account that you have certificates for."

Any ideas on how to keep it from trying to encrypt the email when replying to an encrypted message? Thanks!

Hi,

Does the client have any secure mail certificate installed on the workstation? If so, please check if the client has the following registry key configured:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Security

DWORD: NoCheckOnSessionSecurity

If so try deleting the DWORD registry entry and then check if this issue persists.

Please let me know the result.
