Is DNS round robin for autodiscover supported or recommended
Hi
I have been involved in putting together an Exchange 2010 design for a two site solution. Each site has its own Internet connection. My preference is for regionalised namespaces, but we are looking at using Round Robin for all external DNS records.
My concern would be the Autodiscover record, is this approach supported by Miscrosoft or even recommended?
Thanks
Kev

Round robin wil work as long as you have all servers up in working condition. When one server fail, you will get into problem.

Agree with Lasse.
Per my knowledge, it is supported but not recommend.
Round robin is more manual, client caching causing slow failovers and the it breaks affinity for some protocols such as Outlook Web App, Exchange Web Serveries, and
Exchange Control Panel.
