My boss is crazy. my boss has got a mail from his friend(outside org) now he is asking me how can i trust this mail was sent by his friend or someone might have used his frieds id to send a mail to him, my boss is asking me show me from which ip address i got this email. He is asking how can i trust the mails which he is getting. and overall where is the security for the mail. I told u have to implement S/MIME for email security where the email will be encrypted. Is there any other solution other than S/MIME ?, and for S/MIME do i need a third partyCA , though we r using digicert, will a special CA will be required for implementing S/MIME, please tell how can i get the ip address of the mail which my boss got, if i click message details i dont see the ip Please guide me
