I have read conflicting instructions about the setup of Exchange 2007 and I am hoping to get a final answer so I cam move forward with my deployment. Is an edgetransport required for Exchange 2007 to communicate with internet mail servers and receive email from them? I currently have performed the default install based on some reading that claimed it was optional. If it is needed please let me know. if it is optional can someone point me to some good documention on how to get external mail flow working. Thanks
