Is there any tool like Domino Designer for Exchange: handle views and custom properties
Hi, I found the way to create custom properties and to use views with EWS1.1 to handle custom structure. I had a Domino/Notes organization before, where I could set up really quickly custom properties and views, and I'm now wondering if I need to develop a tool like that to replace the old system or if an Exchange tool like this "Domino Designer" could already exist instead. I would be very thankful if someone could help me figuring that out. Thx, TD

Hi I think this is a case for the development team using Sharepoint, EWS and some API's Then most likely they can solve it for you You will get better response in the development forum with those types of questions http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrdevelopment/threads Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog | Follow me on twitter: jonand82

Don't know if your thinking about something like this: How to Design Forms in Outlook 2007 http://www.ehow.com/how_5939417_design-forms-outlook-2007.html HowTo: Design Outlook form regions with Add-in Express 2010 http://www.add-in-express.com/creating-addins-blog/2010/03/31/design-outlook-form-regions/ A bit old, but very instructive: Designing Outlook Forms (Part 1 and 2) http://www.msexchange.org/articles/Designing-Outlook-Forms-Part1.html http://www.msexchange.org/articles/Designing-Outlook-Forms-Part2.html As to develop, Visual Studio 2010 (and earlier) gives you a lot of options with Outlook. There are many easy-to-follow code examples on MSDN.MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M

Thank you both of you for your reply, Jon-Alfred: I didn't know it was possible to design forms with Outlook, I'm gonna take a look at that. Thanks, TD
