So here is my situation. I have just recently transitioned from Exchange 2003 to 2010. Everything worked like a charm. I removed the interop connector group after moving the mailboxes and public folders. I then was working on getting a Windows Mobile 6.5 device to sync to the new server with a self-signed certificate. I was trying everything I could find online to no avail. I found a last ditch effort yesterday that required me to install Active Directory Certification Services and create a personal cert for the device. This did not work and had some after effects that were definitely not desired. Installing the ADCS broke the Exchange Server install. It destroyed Kerberos and several items within IIS. I spent several hours trying to rebuild all the broken pieces and finally got the EMC to work again however the owa displays a blank page and the client which is Outlook 2010 will not connect. I have searched exhaustively for someone with a similar issue and cannot find one. So I am thinking that maybe the best way to fix this issue is to backup the mailbox and public folder databases, remove exchange server 2010 completely, format the server and start fresh with a clean install. My concern is will I be able to mount the databases on a fresh install of Exchange 2010 without losing any mail or public folders? Is this the right thing to do or does anyone have any insight on how to repair my current installation?

Hi What is the exact issues. Is Outlook working for any users or this not working at all? Same for OWA? I would start off by running the Exchange BPA and correct errors, post here if you get stuck. Sukh

Outlook will not connect to the exchange server. OWA presents a blank page.

BPA doesn't find any issues.

Do you get any errors when you try to connect on the client? Any errors logged on the Exchange server when you try to access via Outlook? Ok I looked in the event log and found an error that I looked up and found some info about a few services that were set to automatic but did not start. They are : Microsoft Exchange Service Host Microsoft Exchange Protected Service Host Microsoft Exchange RPC Client Access These were keeping the connection to Outlook from happening. It says to set them as automatic(delayed start) so I did, So now the only problem that is left is the OWA. I am still getting a blank page when opening the OWA.

Yes Outlook is now connected. OWA did work before the calamity. It is published internally and we use an external ip ported through the firewall to access it.

The OWA is a blank page. IIS reset fails with the /noforce modifier. I have reset all of the virtual directories. I cannot access owa at all. I just get the blank screen that says the website cannot display the page.

Hi, Are you able to open OWA page at Exchange 2010 CAS locally. Such as this URL: https://127.0.0.1/owa If not , I think there may be any corruption with logon.aspx file locate at: C:\program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\OWA\Auth Resolution 1) Replace the logon.aspx file from other server running on same version and same Roll-up 2) Restart the IIS services and now OWA will work with FBA pagePlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. @Rodney - I've looked at the logs and cant see any connections, which makes sense as you cant even log into OWA. All I see is activesync connections. Trying getting the logon.asp from source file for Exchange. If not, it may be that you will have to repair the CAS role (remove then reinstall ONLY CAS) from the setup cd. Then reapply rollups. Sukh
