Hi, we have exchange 2007 SP2. Now, we are considering google meeasge continunity solution. if our server is unavailable, users will access google to check emails. Is this good approach? is there a problem behind this? Thank you.

I have not personaly used Google Message Continuity, however probably if I would be you I would choose to extend my Exchange solution to make it more realiable. I know that it could cost more however you would have full control over whole enviroment, which sometimes is crucial when implementing company policies. I would not like to play with synchronizing all my exchange content with google, just to have it accessible during outage. I belive that you should have backup and restore procedures fully tested hance restoring your environment should not take very long. Its powered by Postini which is considered very good but I cannot personally comment on the service since I have never used it. I personally prefer Spam Soap which provides for Message Continuity, Core filtering, message archiving, etc. if you are looking for a third party cloud service and are very competitive in pricing with other competitors such as Google Postini.
