Hi, Generally Mailboxes that have never been logged on to or sent an email have no Information Store object. Therefore, these mailboxes are not detected in Disconnected Mailbox list. If your case is different, then Clean-MailboxDatabase command will help you. A simple example is Clean-MailboxDatabase MyMailboxDatabaseRegards from www.windowsadmin.info

Thank you for the help. Here are the procedures from that link. If I disable a mailbox, got the warning"Disabling the mailbox will remove the Exchange properties from the Windows user object and mark the mailbox in the database for removal. Are you sure you want to disable this user?" If I click yes as instructed and disable the account, the mailbox will not show in the disconnected mailbox. Tried your command and still does not show in the disconnected mailbox. So, how do I convert the user mailbox to linked mailbox? _____________ Procedure To use the Exchange Management Console to convert a user mailbox to a linked mailbox Disable the user mailbox so that the mailbox object in the Exchange store is disconnected from the user object. Hi John, For this issue, I suggest you follow these steps to troubleshoot the problem: 1. Just as ManU said, please make sure the mailboxes have been logged on to or sent an email . 2. Run the command given by ManU, here is some documents for you: Can’t see Deleted Mailbox in Disconnected Mailbox under Recipient Configuration http://exchangeshare.wordpress.com/2008/04/27/cant-see-deleted-mailbox-in-disconnected-mailbox-under-recipient-configuration/ Clean-MailboxDatabase http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124076(EXCHG.80).aspx 3. If you still cannot see the disconnect mailboxes under Recipient Configuration, please run this command in Exchange Management shell to find the disconnected mailboxes. Get-MailboxStatistics -Server <server> | where { $_.DisconnectDate -ne $null } | select DisplayName,DisconnectDate 4. If you cannot find the disconnect mailboxes, please check whether them have been cleanup when their age are older than 30 days. Here is a related article for you: How to Recover a Deleted Mailbox http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997182%28EXCHG.80%29.aspx If the problem persists, please feel free to let me know and I will be glad to help.
