Issue removing a pub folder store -- again
I have 5 servers (2 - 03 and 3 - 07) I'm trying to decommission one of the 03 boxes but I'm getting the classic "you cannot delete this public folder store because it contains folder replicas" message. The server is obviously not the last 03 server in the org and it was not the first either. I've manually removed replicas from it, run"Move All Replicas" in the ESM and ran the MoveAllReplicas.ps1 script in 07 (not all the same time). I started last Thursday by manually removing the replicas. I then synced the Hierarchy and then checked again Friday. I then ran the 07 script and waited until today but I'm still getting that nasty message. I've also made sure no mailbox db's are pointing to it. If I dismount the pub store and remove the database files all of the public folders disappear under Folders\Public Folders in the ESM until I sync the hierarchy again. I know I could wack it in adsiedit but I'd rather not. I did verify 07 has replicas by dismounting the both pub stores in 03 and verified that users on 07 could still see the folders. I've done this many many times before but this is the first with 07 in the mix. Am I missing something that is right in front of me?

If we can find un-removed instances, please compare its statistics with the replicas on the other servers, and ensure all the data has been synchronized. After that, we can manually remove the instances in order to delete the public folder store. My answer in this thread will help
