Issue sending Email Exchange 2007
Hi Everybody,
i have an issue in sending email from exchange accout to pop account (the two account are in the same domain).
this what i hav:
- sbs 2008.
- Exchange 2007.
ths issue is there are two address still pop and the rest is exchange (all the address are in the same domain tracyad.com).
the domain is: tracyad.com
when a exchange user send an e-mail to pop user a message received : mail delivery........
how i can resolve this problem?

whats the problem. Please give us mor detail information.
- extract the messagetracking log (get-messaagetrackinglog)
- which error message is received by the sender?

Hi Peddy,
i give you e an exemple:
i have two address:
- user1@tracyad.com as an exchange account.
- user2@tracyad.com as a pop account (the customer want this address to still a pop account).
first test:
when user2@tracyad.com send an email to user1@tracyad.com the mail is send and received by user2@tracyad.com.
second test:
when user1@tracyad.com send an email to user2@tracyad.com the mail is not sent (mail delivery).
tomorrow i willsend you a tracking log.

I´ve got some further questions:
in your first example everything works fine. right? Because user2 send an mail to user1 but this email is received by user2. So i hope this is a typemismatch.
Your second example: This means user 2 doesn´t get the mail user1 sends right?
In order to solve this problem I´m interested in:
- are there filters enabled on the inbox of user2 that moves the messages to a diffrent folder?
- is it possible that you analyze your messagetrackinglog in order to search the mail user2 sends to user1 (i hope both useraccounts are hosted on the same Excahnge Server) Or if you have some problems interpreting the logs please give us the information
from the maildilivery.
Hint: In order to analyze your messagetrackinglog please use the Exchange Shell Command get-messagetrackinglog If you need more information about this command please use get-help get-messagetrackinglog.
