Hello All,

One of our MS exchange 2013 user is facing intermenent email sending issues, below is the bounce message being received,

The issue is random and occurs to even email ids within MS exchange organisation.

We have two Exchange 2013 servers with all Roles on them, and load balancing is done through DNS round robin.

Any help provided will be much appreciated.

The destination server for this recipient could not be found in
Domain Name Service (DNS).  Please verify the email address and retry.
If that fails, contact your administrator.

Single user?

I would be looking at their Outlook client. With one of the addresses that bounces, get the address removed from the nicknames file (start typing the address, then when the address in question appears, press down cursor and delete) then select fresh from the GAL for internal addresses.

You need to be clear.

Multiple end users, or a single end user sending to multiple addresses?

I'm assuming he is the only one who send email to this email domain. Looks like the DNS of the recipient domain is not stable, maybe zone transfer problem.

Hi,

For your question, I want to confirm some points, please help collect answers for further analysis:
1. How about internal mail flow?
2. Whether all messages or just message to some special recipients face this issue?

According to the error message, it indicate that user domain cannot found in DNS.
We can try to telnet from your Exchange server to the MX record of this domain and see if you can submit a message.
If yes, you should be fine - so check the SMTP log if you really connect to the MX record for this domain. It might be a DNS issue or you might need a PTR.
