What Exchange Server version are we talking about. If Exchange 2007/2010 please have a look at the value for SCLJunkThreshold by running Get-OrganizationConfig | fl SCL* The SCLJunkThreshold parameter specifies the spam confidence level (SCL) threshold. Messages with an SCL greater than the value that you specify for the SCLJunkThreshold parameter are moved to the Junk E-mail folder. Valid values are integers from 0 through 9, inclusive.Jesper Bernle | Blog: http://xchangeserver.wordpress.com

Thanks jeeper i need go throuh the above link which you gave to know more abour anti spam features, however i can give the below result for problometic user [PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-Mailbox -Identity "ramani" | ft Name, AntispamBypassEnabled, SCLJunkEnabled, SCLJunkThreshold -AutoSize Name AntispamBypassEnabled SCLJunkEnabled SCLJunkThreshold ---- --------------------- -------------- ---------------- ramani False NOTE : i spoke the above affected user personally, he said there is Email adddress called report@xyz.com which is normaly send the report on daily basis . some of the Script which triggers the report, and all the users are usually gets the daily reports from the above email adddress to their inbox . all of sudden all the reports which coming from the report@xyz.com is directly goes to junk email folder I personally logged into the report mailbox and sent a test email from report@xyz.com to the user and my self as well which delivered to ours inbox respectively. It confused again me to find the exact issue now.

Can you find an old report from report@xyz.com that made it into the Inbox and also a new one that ends up in Junk E-mail folder and look into the header of these two email to find out if they have different SCL ratings. Should look something like X-MS-Exchange-Organization-SCL: <value>Jesper Bernle | Blog: http://xchangeserver.wordpress.com

Hi, As you say, “many users reported the issue” So I think it is not an issue at Exchange Server level. However, you had better create a test user, to see if the user will come across the issue. If yes, I think you need to check If there is any GPO . You should also create a test user in other database or other storage group. If not, I have some suggestion. 1. Don’t Open Outlook, log on mailbox via OWA to see if it is same. I do this just want to identify who filter the emails to the junk E-mail folder, Outlook or any other. 2.Run Outlook /cleanrules and disable all add-ins to see if it is still same. In some scenario, there are rules corruptions, you could use MFCMapi to delete all the rules .Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
