Hi, I want to keep a user mbx and her account in AD but delete her entry in our Global Address List.Our company has Exchange 2007 running on Server 2003. I havechecked the checkbox:"Hide from Exchange address lists" on her user properties. But she still exists on our Global Address List. Our users are set to use the Exchange cache mode. I have searched but can't find a solution. Do I miss a step here or is there a completely different setting that I need to set?? Thanks a bunch!!! Stephen

Hi Stepehen, Hide from Exchange address lists is enough to hide the address inGAL. Since outlook is running in cache mode it takes sometime to update the GAL or when OAB updates on server and updates get downloaded in outlook it will be hidden. You can run Update-OfflineAddressBook to update OAB manually. You can see immediate effect in OWA.
