Latest FullBackupTime
Exchange 2010 SP1 - my production exchange server is showing LatestFullBackupTime - March 19,2011. Latest IncrementalBackupTime - nothing
I back this up full 1/week and 5 incrementals mon-fri - how comes this is not registering. I use symantec BE 2010r3. exchange logs are flushed after both full/incremental.
Any ideas?
Thanks SJMP

I have seen thisd behaviour only if log do not flush then correct time does not stamp on database property, I had to reboot my exchange box to fix this.
Can you manage to reboot or restart MS IS service and then do an full backup and sequence incrimental.Anil MCC 2011,ITIL V3,MCSA 2003,MCTS 2010, My Blog : http://messagingschool.wordpress.com

What's the base OS for the Exchange 2010? If you're on Server 2003, try using the NT backup software.

SJMP,
I am guessing that you got the information fron EMC...
If you run get-mailboxdatabase -status| fl Name,*backup* do you get any more information?

Just to clarify, per:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996719.aspx Exchange 2010 is not supported on Windows 2003.

You can try to copy checkpoint file of DB to some other location (to make sure that we are not interrupting production) and ran eseutil /mk against
the copy of the check point file and see whether it has updated last full backup/incremental backup time.
Also you can check 21X events (210,211, 212, 213,214, 215..etc) in application log.
Most cases when the backup finish successfully it will generate event 213 in application log.
Also you can use VSSADMIN command and can check VSSwriter error or if there any limit has set.(VSSADMIN LIST SHADOWSTORAGE)

There must be something in the event logs indicating an error after the backup.
HAve you simply bounced the Exchange Servers yet or restarted the BE agent service?

Hi SJMP,
Any updates?
Please check whether there is any error/warning event in the Event Viewer as Andy said.
Please also run the Exbpa to do a Health Check.

Sorry for delayed response. I am not receiving any updates from MS when people reply.
The logs are flushing. I rebooted no change. This is happening on all DB's not just one.

Did you run the command I suggested?
